Born to LoseUpcoming Events

Authors' Night:

Thursday, October 13th. 7:30 PM

The Friends of the Library Annual Author's Night presents:

James Hollock is the author of Born To Lose: Stanley Hoss & the Crime Spree that Gripped the Nation, the story of one of Western Pennsylvania's most notorious criminals. Mr. Hollock is a Butler native and has 30 years of experience with the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections.
Always on Sunday: Memories of an Italian Childhood is Marcia Russotto's first book. She was born and raised in Sharpsburg, and her book combines reflections on life for Italian immigrant families - and lots of yummy recipes. Marcia and her husband reside in Gibsonia.
Grave Robber, by Maria Farina, is the first novel in her Gypsy Chronicles. The peaceful town of Sewickley (Farina's hometown) is in an uproar because someone decided to raise the dead. The only person to bridge the gap between the human and the demon is the local gypsy.
Books will be available for purchase and autographing, and refreshments will be served. Please register in advance.
